Bridging the gap between methodology

and sociological research.

ESRC Funded Introductory Workshop

Stirling University, Scotland.

Monday 26th  - Wednesday 28th August 2002

This is an introductory level workshop on longitudinal data analysis. The workshop assumes a basic knowledge of quantitative data analysis and statistics and is appropriate for sociological researchers and post-graduate students who wish to turn their attention to longitudinal data analysis. The sessions will be pitched at an introductory level and will attempt to bridge the gap between methodology and substantive sociology through the use of sociological examples. The programme will include discussion sessions and question and answer forums.

Attendance at the workshop will facilitate participation in future events in this seminar series.

There are 20 ESRC funded places (cost, accommodation and subsistence) available.
